Exhibit Opening for Artist Peri Schwartz

Sunday, April 15: Meet artist Peri Schwartz at the opening reception for her exhibit of paintings, prints and drawings, "Interior Perspectives" from 3 - 5 p.m. in the gallery. Peri is a New York artist, whose work is in American and European Museum Collections, including the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, DC; Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; Museum of the City of New York; the Bibliotheque Nationale de France and the British Museum .

Calvin Trillin talks "About Alice"

Sunday, April 15: American journalist, humorist and novelist, Calvin Trillin, visits the New Canaan Library to discuss his latest book, "About Alice" and other topics of interest at 3 p.m. in the Lamb Room. Well known as a writer for the magazines, "The New Yorker" and "The Nation," he is also the author of more than 20 books, most of them non-fiction. A graduate of Yale University, Mr. Trillin now lives in Greenwich Village.
