This was a very good program. She addressed the concerns of parents but also spoke about the concerns of the children and provided answers and solutions.
For those of you who missed the program, the Library has several copies of Madeline Levine's book, "The Price of Privilege: How Parental Pressure and Material Advantage Are Creating a Generation of Disconnected and Unhappy Kids" shelved in the Book Group Collection. Madeline did an incredible amount of research, speaking with educators and other counselors across the country which confirmed her own troubling assumptions about unhappy teens.
