New Canaan Inn Residents and the Library Celebrate National Poetry Month

The New Canaan Inn and the Library are celebrating April as National Poetry Month by highlighting and honoring a Poem of the Day. Two Great Events this Sunday: Children's Author Nancy Wallace and A Conversation with Artist Peri Schwartz


Sunday, April 22: Book discussion and signing with children’s author, Nancy Wallace for ages 5 – 8 from 1:30 – 3 p.m. in the Curtis art gallery. Co-sponsored by Elm Street Books. Call 594-5003 to register.

Library Friends Launch Film Discussion Series

Saturday, April 21: The Friends of New Canaan Library are pleased to offer our patrons a film viewing and discussion series, which kicks off today. “The Horse’s Mouth,” starring Alec Guiness, begins at 2:00 p.m. in the Lamb Room. Refreshments will be served. Copies of the DVD are also available for loan prior to a discussion of the film on Thursday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the Plaut Room. To register for either these events call 594-5003.
